The GTPE-500 elbow terminal protector is used in cable entry boxes with any indoor termination, where phase-to-phase clearance is limited and there is a risk of air flash-over.

GTPE-500 is a one-piece elbow terminal protector for cable entry boxes where phase-to-phase clearance is tight and air alone would not give adequate insulation, acting as a barrier against flashover. Moulded from EPDM rubber for UV resistance, tracking resistance, insulation and mechanical strength, and factory-tested for reliability.
Fits epoxy bushings and RMU type-C bushings; dielectric strength exceeds 15 kV/mm. It is not a touch-proof product.
