GVOT sleeves integrate a varistor stress-control system in cross-linked polyolefin, protecting cables from erosion caused by leakage current in areas of extreme electrical stress and giving a moisture-proof environmental seal. Normally used as an integral part of Gala cable terminations up to 36 kV.
