GTJ/2436 kV is the higher-voltage counterpart to GTJ/1112 kV, matching XLPE-side components (semi-conducting screen, copper screen) to PILC-side components (paper insulation, lead sheath, steel armour).

How do I choose the right size?
Choose by conductor size: the selection chart gives the kit for each cable size in sq mm. For example, on a 15–24 kV system, a 400-500 sq mm cable takes kit GTJ-25.
How is it installed?
Clean and degrease the surface, position the part, then shrink it with a gas torch or a hot-air gun: keep the heat moving round it with a smooth, brushing motion so it recovers evenly without scorching. The instruction sheet in each kit gives the full sequence step by step, including where to start shrinking.
