Gala's heat shrinkable range for MV power cable covers two jointing operations: cable joints, which connect two cable ends, and cable terminations, which end a cable at a switchgear bushing, transformer or overhead line.
Both are supplied as complete kits, sized to the cable's core count, insulation type and voltage class, and installed by heat-shrinking each component in sequence over the prepared cable.

How is it installed?
Clean and degrease the surface, position the part, then shrink it with a gas torch or a hot-air gun: keep the heat moving round it with a smooth, brushing motion so it recovers evenly without scorching. The instruction sheet in each kit gives the full sequence step by step, including where to start shrinking.
