Insulcover is a wrap-around line cover in non-tracking cross-linked polyolefin, used to enhance insulation up to 400 kV. It retrofits insulation onto bare overhead conductors to prevent outages from tree and wildlife contact, without conductor replacement or added line hardware.
Installed with the Split Insulation Tube Tool, which stays in one location for the fit.
