Product line
Heat-shrink and PVC busbar insulation — BUSTUBE sleeves, BUSBOOT shrouds, Bus Sheet and Termicap — for panel builders and switchgear OEMs reducing air clearance inside live enclosures.
8 products in the Busbar Insulation range — 8 with downloadable datasheets, 4 with dimensional spec tables.
Insulating a busbar lets a panel builder cut the air clearance inside the enclosure, shrinking the panel and the bill of sheet metal. The standard BUSTUBE sleeve range covers up to 36 kV; a separate 66 kV Bustube (GEHB series) extends the range for higher-voltage busbar.
Products in this family: Heat Shrink Busbar Sleeve (BUSTUBE), Busbar Sleeve for 66 kV, Bus Bar Insulating Shroud (BUSBOOT) in both polyolefin and PVC, Heat Shrinkable Bus Sheet (GMHS/GHHS), Barrier Board Sheet, Bus Bar End Cap (BUSCAP), Termicap and Termicover terminal covers, and switchgear insulation products.
Tested to ANSI C37.20.2 and ASTM D638, D2240, D792, D149 and D570. ERDA holds a test report specifically for the busbar sleeve; UL File E335936 lists Busboot and Bustube.

DatasheetSpec table

BUSCAP is a flexible, re-usable PVC end cap that covers the end of a live busbar, installed or removed in minutes, in GBC1 to GBC18 sizes and tested to ANSI C37.20.2 for medium-voltage switchgear application up to 36 kV.
Datasheet

Busboot-Polyolefin is a flexible electrical-insulating boot/shroud for busbar and switchgear connections up to 36 kV, moulded from cross-linked polyolefin, halogen free, with a minimum wall of 1.0 mm at 12 kV rising to 2.5 mm at 36 kV.
DatasheetSpec table

BUSBOOT is a flexible, PVC electrical-insulating boot/shroud for busbar and switchgear connections up to 36 kV — UL Certified (File No. E335936) and tested to ANSI C37.20.2 for medium-voltage switchgear.
DatasheetSpec table

GEHB is a heat-shrinkable, non-tracking cross-linked polyolefin sleeve that insulates busbar systems up to 66 kV and guards against accidental flashover, sized GEHB 50/20 to GEHB 150/60, meeting ANSI C37.20.2 for 66 kV switchgear.

The BUSTUBE size chart: GSC (Thin Wall, to 3.3 kV), GMB (Medium Wall, to 24 kV) and GHB (Heavy Wall, to 36 kV) series dimensions for rectangular (width + breadth) and round busbars.
Datasheet

BUSTUBE is a heat-shrinkable, non-tracking cross-linked polyolefin sleeve that insulates busbar systems up to 36 kV and guards against accidental flashover — Thin Wall (to 3.3 kV), Medium Wall (to 24 kV) and Heavy Wall (to 36 kV) grades.
DatasheetSpec table

Bus Sheet (GMHS and GHHS grades) is an adhesive-coated heat-shrinkable sheet that insulates busbar joints of almost any size or shape — tees, elbows and other connections where tubing and tape cannot be used — shrinking with a gas torch or hot air gun to conform tightly to the joint.
