Bustape is a conformable, tough, waterproof tape with an adhesive coating that bonds across a wide temperature range, purpose-built for insulating and protecting medium-voltage busbar connections where tubing cannot be used — bends and irregular geometries.
The shrinking action squeezes the adhesive into surface irregularities as the tape conforms to contours, forming an effective seal. After shrinking, the imprint is permanent and solvent-resistant.
